| INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP is a
8-module series of leadership development training, delivered by Dr. Martha Walker
and Stuart Sutphin from Virginia Cooperative Extension. Participants engage in a wide-array of leadership disciplines, and graduate with a certificate from NLI and Virginia Cooperative Extension.
TUITION: For the Winter 2010 Class, there is no program tuition fee, with all program expenses paid by the Danville-Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce through a grant by United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County. Participant responsibilities: Selected participants must attend each leadership session, actively contribute to the discussions and learning experiences, and participate with the assigned team members in completing a community planning project. Graduates are expected and encouraged to assume active roles in local civic and governmental activities and to nominate participants for future Innovative Leadership: Building Community Connections programs.
