INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP is a 8-module series of leadership development training, delivered by Dr. Martha Walker and Stuart Sutphin from Virginia Cooperative Extension. Participants engage in a wide-array of leadership disciplines, and graduate with a certificate from NLI and Virginia Cooperative Extension. TUITION: For the Winter 2010 Class, there is no program tuition fee, with all program expenses paid by the Danville-Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce through a grant by United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County. You are invited to become a participant in the next grassroots leadership training!   Developed by Virginia Cooperative Extension, Innovative Leadership:  Building Community Connections is a grassroots leadership training program that provides participants with the opportunity to: Build their leadership skills. Increase their awareness of community issues. Network with other leaders. Become more engaged in community, civic, and governmental activities. Innovative Leadership:  Building Community Connections curriculum includes six leadership modules and is open to all Danville and Pittsylvania County citizens striving to include individuals from all geographic and demographic sectors of our community.  The selection process is highly competitive with a limited number of openings. Now is the time to complete and submit your application.
