FOCUS ON STRENGTHENING NEIGHBORHOODS AND ORGANIZATIONS:

Neighborhoods are communities within our community.  Our region can only be as strong as its neighborhoods.

Our objectives in this focus area are to increase the number of neighborhood associations, and effect leadership development at the grassroots level, so that our neighborhoods can take control of crime, drugs, beautification, and citizen engagement.

In addition, we are committed to strengthening the organizational capacity of community non-profits to accomplish their missions.
